The need for ethical compliance to judicial system in the Country in order to maintain the integrity and Standard of Law profession has been stressed.

Mr. Mela Audu Nunghe SAN, who is the President Nigerian Law School class of 1984 advocates for the need for law Students and professionals to uphold to the judicial ethics of the profession for peace and justice to prevail.


The president makes the remarks while interacting with journalists after the official opening of the 49th reunion anniversary of the Nigerian Law school class 1984, which was held at Yankari Game Reserve.


Mr. Mela Audu Nunghe calls for the sustenance of the symbolic representation of integrity and unity that the Law profession represent.


He said as members of the judiciary the meeting avail them the opportunity to discuss raising issues in the Country’s judicial system and to seek for ways of strengthening the system.


He commended the Nigerian Law School for its immense contribution to Nigeria judicial System which according to him has produced judicial professionals who keeps the hope of the justice system alive.


Mr. Mela Audu Nunghe commended Bauchi State Government for hosting the 49th reunion anniversary meeting of the 1984 Law set.

The Chairman Organizing Committee of the 49th meeting and the Secretary of the State Government Barrister Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim underscored the important role lawyers play in strengthening judicial institution.

Barrister Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim applauded Governor Bala Mohammed his approval and support to the event.


He thanked all members of the 1984 set of the Nigerian Law School for coming down to Bauchi for the 40th reunion anniversary and call on them to seize the opportunity and Hannes tourism attraction sites of the State.


The event which is holding from 16th, will end with a lunch to be hosted by the State Governor Bala Mohammed on Monday the 18th November.


Former Katsina State Governor Barrister Ibrahim Shehu Shema who is also an Alumni of the Nigeria Law School class of 1984 was in attendance at the sets 40th Reunion anniversary as well as other members from Europe, and other parts of the world converge at the Yankari Game Reserve.


Members of the Nigeria Law school class of 1984 has produced Senior Advocates of Nigeria, past and a present judge of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Governor, judges of the appellate courts and court of tribunal.
