Governor Bala Mohammed advocates for the establishment of Life Insurance Scheme for Nigerian Armed Forces.

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has advocated for the establishment of Life Insurance Scheme for Armed Forces in Nigeria.
The Governor said considering the immense contribution and sacrifice of the Nigerian Armed Forces there is need for both the State and Federal Governments to establish a Life Insurance Scheme for personnel of the Nigerian Armed forces.
Governor Bala Mohammed was speaking during the launching of the 2025-Armed Forces Remembrance Day and Emblem Appeal Week at the executive chamber Government Bauchi.
He promised to continue supporting families of Nigeria’s fallen heroes who fought for Unity and stabilization of Nigeria and also defended her sovereignty, he then solicited for more support to the Nigerian legions.
Earlier in his remark the acting Chairman of the Nigeria Legion Bauchi State branch Capt. Alhaji Garba Itas Retired appreciated the support of the state Government under the leadership of Governor Bala Mohammed which according to him has been assisted their members immensely.
Capt. Garba solicited with the state government to consider members of the legion in its interventions in the state, particularly during allocation of Hajj and Jerusalem slots.
He also appealed to the government to issue a certificate of occupancy to the association on a farm land given to the Nigeria legion in the State for over thirty years.
Highlights of the occasion was decoration of the executive Governor as well as top government officials with the 2025-Armed Forces Appeal Emblem.
